Running a festival bar without the queue chaos

Split the till from the prep counter, give orders numbers, and keep selling when the network dies.

Festival bottlenecks look the same everywhere: one person takes money and pours drinks. The queue grows, orders get mixed up, and by mid-evening nobody knows what has been paid. The fix is splitting the till from the prep counter.

1. The till charges, the counter prepares

Tapkasa pairs two devices: the till takes payments and every paid bill pops up on the second device as a numbered order. The prep counter ticks items off and calls the number when ready.

2. Works with no signal

Festival networks are overloaded, so the devices connect directly to each other. Keep Wi-Fi enabled on both (no network needed) or run a hotspot on one. A setup guide is built into the app.

3. Close each shift

Close a shift as an event: revenue moves to the archive and the till starts from zero. At the end, issue one summary PDF for the whole festival, with a VAT breakdown if you need it.

Tip: colour-code items by category, beer yellow, soft drinks blue, food green. New helpers find their way during the first order.
